Application Description Action Scanner lets users scan through their choice of
Police, Fire, EMS and other feeds from around the country. Streaming
audio scanner feeds can be exciting, but when there is a lapse in the
action things get boring quickly. Unlike similar products Action
Scanner scans through up to 4 feeds at a time. The app will stop on a
feed when there is a transmission present, sort of like, well, a real
scanner... Now you don't have to miss any of the action, be it next
door or across the country!
Please note that some stations may require an adjustment to the squelch for proper operation.
FEATURES:
-Over 1,600 stations currently available and the list is growing!
-Automatic updates based on the RadioReference.com library
-Visit our website for a complete list of stations
-Scan up to 4 stations at once over WiFi or 3G
-Scan indicator shows which station is being scaned or playing
-Independnat control of volume and squelch for each station
-User configurable bank names
-Last Contact date & time tracked for each station
-Your device will not go into sleep mode while this app is running
-Turn your screen off and keep scanning for better battery life
Action Scanner works on any iPhone or iPod Touch running OS 3.0 or
higher. A 3G or WiFi connection is required. Please note that 2G
devices will only be able to run this app on WiFi. Feeds are proivded by
individuial content providers who are not affiliated with teeny
Software. We can not guarrantee the availability of any particualr
feed. Not all areas are available. If you know of a feed that you would
like to see added, please email us at support@teenysoftware.com
Latest Update Based on your feedback that this scanner was anything but "teeny" we have re-named teeny Scanner as Action Scanner.
Now with complete coverage of the RadioReference.com streams and
automatic updates to be sure that you get the most complete list of
stations available!
You can now provide custom names for the four scanner banks.
